And today, she is also posting on my 1st Annual Halloween Blog Hop - 8 Days of Spooky Goodness with The Guidance Goddess and Friends. Be sure to check out her post at http://jolynnevalerie.blogspot.com/. And without further ado, my post! Halloween is a big holiday for Pagans, Wiccans, Witchy and Magickal people, children, and for the Inner Child in all of us. Light some orange, yellow, white, and black candles, and join me in reading a short poem while honoring this day when the Veil is thin, and our Ancestors and Spirit Guides come through with messages louder and clearer than ever. The Winds of All Hallow’s Eve Shifting winds and cloudy fog A swift chill in the air. Magickal happenings are afoot, and rambling Spirits call. She wanders as if lost, Calling to a Love no longer there; The Lone Wolf howls against the darkening Moon, And whispers shuffle through the leaves. She is the Beauty and the Loss in us all, Her skirts rustle and her Ancestors call. There is a low hum and a deep drumbeat That few can hear; She has never lost the tune. Helping those who need it most, Answers she brings from Behind the Veil. When others ache for comfort, Hers is the answer they seek time and time again. So on this night of bittersweet chill, Do not fear for the Samhain Goddess. Hers is a Path that is often walked alone, Hers is the Path of the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone. When you look for messages in the shifting tides, Her Spirit will blow feathers to you on the Wind. Honor her and offer her thanks, And remember her call when you long to dance.
